Maxine Nodel is an award-winning, versatile visual artist, published writer, and highly experienced teaching artist. She holds a B.F.A. from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College where she studied privately with Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.

Maxine exhibits and sells her art nationally and internationally, and her work is on public display in the NY metropolitan and Hudson Valley areas.

Maxine also gives public talks about her unique design art. She is a distinguished member of the Salmagundi Art Club in NYC., and teaches adult art at SUNY Purchase, Bronxville and Scarsdale Adult Schools, as well as in her private studio.
